Alec’s yellow supra is practically a factory-manufactured go-kart. But, who says you can’t make a go-kart look good and sound good? I’ve had the privilege to use Alec’s hydraulic lifts on both a downpipe install and lowering springs, which made it mind-blowingly easier to work efficiently, and also is one of the few times I’ve taken my skills mobile and out of the garage. Since the new mk5 supra is a B58, it was relatively easy to install since the OEM turbo placement and downpipe shape is convenient. However, the lowering springs posed more of a challenge when considering how tight the tolerances on the suspension system of a small car can be, but fundamentally there was no big difference and both the springs and downpipe transformed the car into what Alec was hoping for.
